The fifth book of M/Light, the label that presents the work of an experienced generation of photographers to young readers. It gathers 33 black-and-white snapshots by Yoshihiro Tatsuki, printed large in a 363 x 255 mm format. The pictures are studies of worn things: an old car parked beside a building, wrecked and rusting vehicles with their doors open, the front of an old truck, crumpled dark cloth, debris glinting on a black ground and a lone figure bending in a snowy field. Each picture stands alone on a right-hand page facing a blank page, and the book ends with a page of Japanese text. The title is the French word for study, and the cover is green cloth.
