A very unusual book in which only ramen noodles and curry appear, page after page. The title is wordplay, joining the 'Ra' of ramen and the 'rry' of curry. It began when his friend, the stylist Daisuke Iga, took Masafumi Sanai to some of the best ramen and curry restaurants. From then on Sanai visited different restaurants two or three times a week for almost three years to photograph the dishes, always with his favourite medium-format camera. The bowls and plates are shown one to a spread against red, tan and dark backgrounds, facing a blank page.
