The book gathers pictures of bad weather: rain, gales, dust storms, all taken in the park near the artist's home. It was shot on film, using very simple techniques and collaborating only with natural forces for what look like special effects. She wanted a book that would feel immersive, like listening to an endless music track, a little intense but not too dramatic, about a place that is homely and familiar, as if the reader had been there too, with its ducks and pigeons, its concrete fences imitating wood, its brown painted lamp posts and a purposeless steel box floating in the pond.
