"The process of making photographs is a way for me to lean into my imagination — to bring things in the world together and see what meaning comes out of it. I enjoy working with the things that I love: the spiritual, nature, animals, intimacies, quiet and tender moments. The sensual always seems to appear in my photographs, whether through the quality of light, a human gesture, or the creatures and plants. The images in this book were taken in north Wales, where I grew up and where, for me, a lot of archetypal powers intersect."
