From the late 1970s he made portraits for Vogue, Vanity Fair, Interview and Rolling Stone and campaigns for Calvin Klein, Chanel, Donna Karan, Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani, Levi’s, Pirelli and Valentino, and from 1988 directed music videos and commercials.
