The book is divided into two parts: one presents the work of Gianni Berengo Gardin, the other that of Elliott Erwitt. Each photographer introduces himself in a text at the opening of his section, telling of their deep and long friendship and of their relationship with the camera and with their work. The more international gaze of Erwitt and the one of Berengo Gardin, more focused on the reality of Italy, meet and compare on the pages of the book.
