Sun, waves, light, flowers. Night falls over the city. Late Show is a video featuring a succession of cutaways and ambient images with familiar connotations. Conceived in the form of a trailer, the artist gives these images a strong fictional quality by placing them at the core of the narrative. Evoking the clichés of the natural world (sun, flowers, sea) and those of the urban environment (office buildings, traffic circulation), by combining these short videos the artist generates a narrative charged with tension. Stills and elements from the video are captured in the zine, mirroring the timeline within the film.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
