The Westmorland County Agricultural Society was founded in 1799 and, for more than two hundred years, has survived world wars, recessions and the British weather to stand as one of the oldest livestock shows in Britain. Set on the edge of the Lake District, the Westmorland County Show has brought rural life to a wide public, and Conor Rollins photographs the animals, the handlers and the ring on the day itself.
