"Every other day I take the regional train from Marseille and reach Rassuen station in the late afternoon. Then there are a few minutes by bicycle: I follow the tracks, cross a bridge and then the car park of a retail estate. I have the feeling of being at the end of the town, and that is where I arrive at Le Prépaou, ringed by pines and tall grass." The estate was built at the start of the 1970s, and the volume follows one summer spent among the people who live there.
