Photographies 1976-2005 brings together different series by Ishiuchi Miyako, recognised as a pioneer among Japanese women photographers. The monograph presents a selection drawn from early series such as Endless Night, Apartment and Yokosuka Story alongside more recent work such as 1906 to the Skin and 1·9·4·7, in which the artist sets out a critique of the dominant view of the body carried by the media and by advertising. The volume is a leporello, printed on both sides.
