A major figure of body art in France, Journiac built a subversive body of work carrying a real critique of the society of his time. This book presents his photographic work as a whole, from an avant-garde artist whose words still land. He practised poetry, installation, performance and sculpture, and it was through photography that the actions were fixed and circulated.
