East Los Angeles, where Bojorquez is from, photographed day to day. Begun when he was twenty, the series catches the gatherings of those neighbourhoods and the people in them. Working from his own experience he shoots spontaneously, alternating colour and black and white, and gives a view of lives in social settings that are very rarely pictured at all.
