In 2018, while he was living in New Zealand, the French artist Louis Gary was taken along, with his family, to a wedding in Korea. Published by the Korean house Same Dust, Bonjour Alan is his chronicle of that wedding in black and white, and it takes the classic wedding album from exactly the wrong angle. It follows Ici, published by September Books in 2020, and was shot in parallel with it.
