The Denver Mosaic, conceived in 1961 for an office building designed by architects Joseph and Louise Marlow, has a unique place in the life and practice of Belgium architect and artist René Heyvaert (1929-1984). In this publication the entire mural is reproduced in 4 strips; the top and the bottom half of the left wall, followed by the top and the bottom half of the right wall. Photography and text: Arnaud Hendrickx.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is a digital platform dedicated to independent photobooks, photography publications, design books, and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
