To create my images, I work in a photographic chamber using the waxed paper negative process (negatives made by myself, on paper, using the method of Gustave Le Gray dating from 1851). Doing this requires a lot of experimentation. This choice requires careful manual preparation, using a few simple chemicals, on drawing paper. The process only allows the production of a few photographs per day. The confrontation I have with the material is essential, the hazards are part of the game, and obtaining the image is not immediate and requires processing over several hours.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is a digital platform dedicated to independent photobooks, photography publications, design books, and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
