Teresa Chen, daughter of naturalized Americans of Chinese descent, repeatedly engages with private photographs from her family's milieu. In this book we get to know the obsessively pursued pastime of her remarkable parents. Since retirement, all their interest belongs to dancing at festivals and tournaments. This passion of Ma and Pa Chen was surpassed only by the interest in documenting it all photographically.
