An extensive and varied history of the Swiss punk scene from 1976 to 1980, brought together and told chronologically for the first time. The music, the scenes, the protagonists, the cities, the events: Hot Love – Swiss Punk & Wave 1976–1980 is a gripping book on a piece of Swiss cultural history. Today the punk beginnings are often associated with the 1980 movement, and the founding period of the Swiss punk and wave scene is, at least publicly, sparsely documented. Hot Love tells the story through facts, anecdotes and pictures.
