“A free newspaper once stigmatized the neighbourhood as 'the very worst ghetto in Switzerland,' meaning its high share of foreigners, evident in the large, colourful variety of shops. For most people it is just a transit point at the back exit of the city of Lucerne, known from driving past — no place to stay. For me, however, the roundabout has become home, the centre around which everything moves.
