Hoffentlich verliebe ich mich nicht in dich (I Hope I Don't Fall in Love with You) is an art project by the Zürich artist duo huber.huber — the twin brothers Markus and Reto Huber — together with the Bern poet Jürg Halter. The two artists and the author turn their gaze on the supposedly everyday and search for the unusual in the ordinary. At regular intervals they produced joint photographic-literary contributions: huber.huber photograph and the poet Jürg Halter writes poetic, absurdist-humoured image interpretations — really short stories about the photographs. An artist's and reading book that dialogically interlocks text and image into a surprising whole that transcends its two components.
