Trix and Robert Haussmann are known in Switzerland and abroad for their enormous joint contribution to design and interior decoration. They have lived and worked together since the 1960s, also symbiotically designing and inhabiting beautiful interiors full of art and lovely things. One can imagine the two — like their apartments — as a double self-portrait in ongoing development. The Haussmanns have long maintained close ties to the avant-garde of their time. In conversation with Marc Jancou they recount a life lived among art and its makers.
