These photographs depict places that seem to exist beyond the field of time—where stones hold memory, the earth hums with a silent awareness, and landscapes confront us with their stark, unsettling beauty. Through Glass Mountain, Lundgren dismantles the notion of nature as a fixed ideal. Instead, he asks us to see the Earth in a constant state of becoming. “As humans, we once looked to the sun, the stars, and the moon as maps. We saw the planet as our home, inseparable from our own existence. We told our stories through almanacs, songlines, and paintings on the walls. But many of us now live by a different set of guides.
