A cassette and photobook by Rev. LV, edited and assembled by Mark Templeton. In 2019 an unmarked box was found containing 35mm slides and a series of cassette tapes: spoken reflections, fragments of hymns and long passages of piano tape loops, somewhere between devotional practice and private sound study. With them was a red binder of colour slides of unknown subjects, at once intimate and estranged. The cassettes have been digitised and lightly restored, and the book gathers selections of the photographs, printed in risograph to echo their fading hues — part archival, part interpretive, a document that blurs devotion, memory and listening.
