In his work the photographer and video artist Nuno Cera (b. Beja, Portugal, 1972; lives and works in Lisbon) operates at the intersection of art and documentary to address fundamental forms of change: natural, spatial and temporal. His long-term research projects involve different agents and collaborators, including scientists, actors, writers and critics. My Light / Minha Luz is Nuno Cera’s first comprehensive monograph and focusses on recent series such as My Light, Acid Flamingo, Infinite Window, and Cosmic Debris. With contributions by Julia Albani, Susana Ventura, Jeff Wood, and Daniel Zamarbide.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
