I met young Antonio at the 8-Ball Zine Fair back in probably 2019 and we have kinda been in touch ever since. It just so happened he was working in Japan with some friends of mine and we began chatting again. We spoke about making a zine and he showed me the pictures he'd been taking. A perfect match! Colour photographs of Japanese cities, trains and cherry blossom at night.

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
