Collection Des oiseaux (On Birds)
Text by Guilhem Lesaffre
Collection directed by Nathalie Chapuis and Philippe Séclier
The book takes us on a journey through tropical forests and jungles around the world to astonishing bird species whose studio portraits the artist has been making since 2008: “I’ve long noticed how many birds have specific expressions, just like us”. Her images rely on a profound connection with her sitters and give each bird individuality.
