Signs & Artifacts is part of a project aiming to document storefront signs for local businesses found around New York City. This volume features signs from Bushwick, Brooklyn. These signs are iconographic representations of the neighborhood they are in and are markers of its cultural identity, often ghostly artifacts of design that connect us to an older New York.
