Storist, a story and picture-book, accesses a store of memories, relics and documents. From their experiences of growing up in Europe during the Cold War, authors Helmut & Johanna Kandl weave a tightly woven mesh of images and events. The geographically and chronologically remote combines with the closely biographical, with the focus always on erstwhile socialist countries.
