ASORKPOR is a visual exploration of the musical vibration that shapes the streets of Jamestown, Accra. In sequences of black-and-white street portraits, Sean Kweifio-Okai traces how this vibration is embodied through gesture and movement and how it shapes a collective identity through shared musical experience. The zine is number seven in CCP.PE.ZINE, the collaboration between the Centre for Contemporary Photography and Perimeter Editions for emerging photographic artists. The cover is a black-and-white photograph of a smiling child in a patterned dress dancing against a wooden wall with other children beside.
