A photographic novel that juxtaposes images made during and after Nagakura Nami's pregnancy and the birth of her child, between 2017 and 2019. Alongside pictures of the artist's own life and journeys between Japan and China, the sequence contemplates ancient allegories within the contemporary condition through a queer intimate vision. Cinematic cityscapes and natural scenery, vigorous colour and mundane daily moments hold rough emotion and banal transience together.
