A long-term research project documents urban development, widely recognized for its unique method. Over a period of fifteen years, a record of building activity and urbanization processes was conducted to demonstrate how these alter the character of a typical suburban community bordering a major city. At dozens of locations, pictures were taken under identical conditions every two years to show changes in the spatial interplay of buildings, streets, and green spaces, alongside topical series focusing on individual objects that tell of the appropriation and aesthetics of everyday habitats.
