At first glance, the images appear to show an artists' studio with its clutter of everyday objects. Yet suddenly perspective shifts -- large things appear small, and small ones appear impossibly big. This duo plays a sophisticated game with the authenticity of the medium: they built a detailed model of their workspace complete with much of its furnishings, of which they took countless pictures. These turn our viewing experience upside down: the view from the model's window shows the real space, proportions look weirdly distorted, and occasionally the two artists themselves appear as protagonists.
