Investigates how spatiality works in photography and how it can become an instrument for narration. A series of photographed spaces open up a conversation and hint at intimate stories. Walls look cracked, roughly textured, seeming to address the hands instead of the eyes: they beg to be touched, stroked, felt. These spaces look like unfinished buildings or abandoned ruins, still under construction or already in decline. The introduction of a temporal sense, of something pointing towards a future completion or a lingering memory of what has irrevocably passed, adds to the inherent instability of the work: are we looking at a possible dystopian future or the remnants of a utopian past?

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
