Invited to spend a few days in Corigliano Calabro, Berengo Gardin was able to explore the many aspects of the landscape and daily life, planning his approach and recording situations. Moments of the day, circumstances and figures: the soul of the town emerges in the amused reactions of the people portrayed, in the colourful world of a lively, crowded square, in the gestures and rhythms of everyday work.
