Off Broadway is a privileged, unexpected observation point: a lateral way of looking at conflicts, the urban landscape and natural disasters, but also marginalisation and loneliness. It is the first space where the photographers decided to join forces, mix their gazes and organise an exhibition reflecting this new vision: sequences of pictures, war reportages and fragments of images gathered around the world, projected from screen to screen with music composed for the occasion by Fabio Barovero. "Young Magnum photographers created an exhibition from their different experiences of Afghanistan, Israel, Palestine, New York, Chechnya, India, Iraq, Russia or Italy, moving through different conflicts and countries and their own neighbourhoods."

ABOUT

SpineIndex is an archive of independent books on photography and visual culture: photobooks, publications, design books and self-published editions — the kind of work that rarely makes it into bookshop windows or mainstream catalogues. It exists to document, connect, and keep visible a world of publishers, artists, and makers who operate outside conventional distribution. A living reference for anyone who takes this territory seriously — collectors, researchers, students, and the simply curious.
