In Phil Stern’s pictures one relives the feeling of the Hollywood scene, "on the stage", with all its magic and its protagonists, and at the same time celebrates the extraordinary black and white of a master of the genre, active on many post-war film sets. The book accompanied the exhibition at Forma in Milan in 2010.
