Published in 2007 for the exhibition of the same name at the Nederlands Fotomuseum in Rotterdam, Out of the Ordinary 1970-1980 gathers some fifty pictures made by Joel Meyerowitz over a decade that mattered in his practice, when he tested formats other than 35 mm in order to explore time, space and light differently. Now out of print, the volume offers an unusual selection that shows another side of his work.
