A route traced through a dreamed city, and a glimpse of a network of spaces standing as silent witnesses to an order that has been forgotten. Recurring concrete forms and perplexed human beings punctuate the journey in a faintly elegiac register, an Arcadia turned inside out and lit by the hopes of a period that is over. It is good ground for a run of unsettling encounters, each a cryptic symptom of something present and not benign: an upside-down staircase, a door nobody can reach, people held in precarious gestures, conversations gone wrong.
