A photographer in the purest humanist tradition and a member of the Rapho agency alongside Doisneau, Ronis and Niépce, Sabine Weiss was the privileged witness of her time. Far from the great photoreportages, conflicts and political events that marked history, she devoted herself to the street and its inhabitants, cities, children and chance encounters.
