The first publication by Alexander Mourant gathers sculptures, performances and photographs made on his family farm. It responds first of all to Robert Smithson's Island of Broken Glass of 1969–70, and turns the farm into a place where objects are built, carried and photographed at night, so that the work of making and the work of looking become the same gesture.
