A series of forty-two self-portraits by the French-British photographer and film-maker Raphaël Neal, inspired by the portraits of actors and actresses of the golden age of Hollywood and European cinema from the 1930s to the 1950s, of which he is a passionate collector. Faithful to the almost liturgical aesthetic that bathed those twentieth-century icons in a glorious light, the pictures are nonetheless unsettling: something is out of place in the glamour, and the tribute turns irreverent.
