Documents much of the time young nomadic snowboarders spend traveling to fresh powder and perfect jumps, and the waiting in between: riders kindle boredom with hours, even days, of contemplation when helicopters are grounded and the weather channel only hints at what's coming. Combining photographs and digital video grabs of the world's top snowboarders, all under the age of twenty-five, this artist project offers a surreal, hardcore portrait of a subculture, comparable to a landmark photographic study of disaffected youth.
