The photo project Am Weg forms the concluding part of the trilogy of Hans-Christian Schink's long-term photographic investigation of the surroundings of his home in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (after Hinterland, 2019, and Unter Wasser, 2022). A 3-km-long field path leads from the photographer's house through an agrarian landscape typical of this region. Schink has walked this path again and again, on foot and with the camera. Over a period of four years, an artistic-documentary survey of the various aspects of this area has emerged.
