The volume gathers the fruits of several campaigns carried out in Sardinia over a number of years. The subject is the marvellous granite rock that marks the island's terrain: shaped by wind and water over millennia, it appears in unthinkable forms, some with animal likenesses, others anthropomorphic, in poses at times so dynamic that they seem to have come from the hands of skilled sculptors.

Through a careful use of monochrome the maker gives them back as apparitions.
